September 7 Guided moonlight walk in the salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar

An atmospheric hike through the salt flats of San Pedro to the beach of Punta de Algas

The next full moon falls on Sunday 7^th September and in San Pedro del Pinatar the local tourist board is holding this evening walk in the regional park of the salt flats and sand dunes along the coast, beginning at 20.00 and lasting until approximately 23.00.

The route begins at the Molino del Quintín windmill and covers a distance of around 9 kilometres between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean, reaching the beach of Punta de Algas, where the mainland almost connects with the strip of land which constitutes La Manga. This promises to be an atmospheric and picturesque adventure, and participants are advised to bring binoculars as well as drinking water and mosquito repellent.
