ARCHIVED - June 22 Fun run in Mazarron to celebrate 150 years of the local police force

All are welcome to join in the races which start at the Policía Local HQ in Mazarrón

The Policía Local of Mazarrón celebrates its 150^th anniversary this year and to commemorate the landmark a fun run is being held with the collaboration of the Town Hall, Cruz Roja and Protección Civil.

All are welcome to take part and can do so by scanning the QR code on the accompanying poster.

Various local schools are joining in as part of their end of year celebrations, meeting outside the HQ of the Policía Local at 18.00 on June 22.

The categories of run being held are as follows:

Pre-benjamín (5 to 7 years old) and Benjamín (8 and 9 years old), 800 metres.

Alevín (10 and 11 years old), 1,500 metres.

Infantil (12 and 13 years old), Cadete (14 and 15 years old), 3,000 metres.

Juvenil (16 to 18 years old) and Senior (19 and over), 4,500 metres.

The events will be followed by prize-giving and free gifts for all participants.
