Thy Will Be Done says goodbye to beloved Frenchie Benny

The much-loved rescue dog was a familiar face to clients and became affectionately known as “Benny Woofer from Benijófar”

A familiar four-legged face from the Costa Blanca business community has sadly passed away, with Thy Will Be Done saying goodbye to Benny, the rescue Frenchie who became the face of the company for many years.

Benny was one of two rescue Frenchies who became well known to clients visiting the company’s former offices in Quesada. Alongside Frankie, he would happily greet visitors and make the most of the attention and treats on offer.

The company said Benny passed away last week after several months living with a degenerative spinal condition that had left him increasingly incapacitated. He had affectionately become known as the company’s “head of security” and, in their words, will now be reunited with Frankie.

Frankie sadly died three years ago after developing brain tumours, leaving Benny as the last of the pair who had been such a familiar part of the business.

Thy Will Be Done has thanked everyone who has sent messages of support and remembered the two dogs over the years, particularly those who regularly arrived with treats for them.

The company said it plans to give another rescue dog a forever home when the time is right, continuing the tradition started by Frankie and Benny.

For now, Benny will be remembered as “Benny Woofer from Benijófar”, a much-loved member of the team who brought plenty of welcome attention to the company’s offices and advertising over the years.
