Oct 11-15 Park of Nations Street Food Market in Torrevieja

Torrevieja’s iconic Park of Nations will host a five-day Street Food Market packed to the brim with musical and leisure events between Wednesday October 11 and Sunday October 15. The well-loved avenue will come alive with concerts and DJ sessions, children’s activities, a vintage market packed full of artisanal products and no fewer than 12 food trucks offering themed cuisine from all over the world.

The City Council has allocated 28,000 euros to the festival and is particularly excited about the growing trend of food trucks and the demand for events that combine entertainment with hospitality "generating an important synergy in the areas where this is implemented."

But the main focus for the council is on giving local businesses a chance to shine and welcome boost in profits, since these smaller outfits are still threatened "due to the unstoppable rise of large commercial stores and the hegemony of digital platforms."

The contract for October’s event is going to be awarded to a single company which specialises in providing food trucks for this type of street fair.
