Click HereDecember 8 is a national fiesta in Spain to celebrate the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception and the “Virgen de la Purísima”, who is also the patron saint of the municipality of Mazarrón.
This means that the town and surrounding area are involved in their annual Fiestas Patronales, and this year the events planned include a series of live concerts.
The fiestas officially begin on November 30 with the opening speech and the switching on of the fiesta and Christmas lights, while the concerts scheduled are as follows:
Friday December 2: Gala Reina de las Fiestas and Ruth Lorenzo in concert at 22.00
Saturday December 3: Fangoria y las Nancys Rubias at 22.00
Monday December 5: El Canijo de Jerez at 22.00
Tuesday December 6: Siempre Así at 22.00
Wednesday December 7: Comedians Maru Candel, Martita de Graná and Ana Bravo at 22.00
Thursday December 8: Kids concert by Gisela at 11.30
Friday December 9: Orquesta la Mundial at 22.00
Saturday December 10: Pastora Soler at 22.00
All concerts will be held at the Pabellón de Deportes La Aceña.
