After a very hot couple of days this past weekend, when the calima made everything seem slightly hazy and cloudy at times, the temperatures in the Region of Murcia will go back down to the usual level we have become accustomed to – more like the mid-20-degree range rather than above 30ºC.

That’s from Tuesday April 9 onwards, when minimum temperatures will go from the 13-17ºC range they had climbed up to, down to around 7-11ºC. Tuesday will also see maximum temperatures during the day drop down from highs of 31ºC to 24ºC.

As such, it will not be cold at all, though it may feel noticeably cooler in comparison with the sweltering couple of days just passed. That said, temperatures will start to climb up again by next weekend.

It will be a very sunny week, with remarkably little in the way of cloud cover, some high cloudiness on Monday April 8 and Wednesday 10 notwithstanding.

Monday this week also brings a small chance of rain, up to 25% in the northwest and only 5-10% possibility of rainfall in the rest of the Region. For the remainder of the week, the probability of rainfall is 0-5%.

There may be some moderately windy periods, especially on Monday and Wednesday evenings when it could get up to 25-30kmh, but nothing to write home about.
