Change in notifications procedure for Camposol: Timetable up to July 27

New collection procedure announced for next phase of notifications regarding Mazarrón Council taking over responsibility to complete the public elements of the Camposol urbanisation

The Camposol Business Association have been forwarded details of changes to simplify the notifications procedure and the next schedule by Mazarrón Council.

The new procedure, coinciding with the process moving onto Sector B, will see the documentation being made available for collection at the Camposol Social Centre, Sector B, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9.30am and 1.30pm in street order (as below) schedule updates will be published in advance. To collect your documentation, you will need to provide your NIE/DNI number.

The notification procedure is a legal requirement for the takeover process and is a legal process similar to a recorded delivery letter in which homeowners sign for a copy of the section of the minutes of the Mazarrón Council’s governing board meeting where the approval of the change of management system for Sector A of the Camposol urbanisation was approved. Signing for the document does not infer that homeowner either accepts or rejects the content, it is part of the legal process of informing owners of the decision approved by the Council.

Because of the scale of the task of endeavouring to contact as many homeowners as possible on the Camposol urbanisation, which will include absent owners as well as full time residents, the distribution of the letters will change to a primarily collection process with a door to door operation to follow up on uncollected documents after the schedule is finished.

The council stressed that the notification procedure was free to the home owners and no charge or fees would be asked for. Adding that anyone asking for money in return for the notification letters should not be entertained.

The change of management system for Sector A and Sectors B,C,D,F of the Camposol urbanisation is the initial public step towards changing the system of management from the compensation system, which was reliant on the now defunct developer Justo y Manoli SL a subsidiary of conglomerate Grupo MASA, to the cooperation system which entails Mazarrón Council taking on the role of urbanisation developer and starting to plan the works required to complete all sectors of the development.

Fundamentally, changing the management system is the only viable course of action available which complies with Murcia regional urban planning laws. This action also ties in with the Camposol planning modifications announced by Mazarrón Council recently.

Notification availability at the Camposol Social Centre, July 17 to 26 if the name of your street is not listed for a particular day, your notification will not be available on that day. Anyone missing their allotted day will be able to collect their notification after July 29 from the Social Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

• Wednesday July 17: Calles; Cueva del Peliciego – Abrucena - Ermita de la Hornea - Alcolea and Avenida de los Covachos
• Friday July 19: Calles; - Sierra de la Torrecilla – Fiñana – Arboleas – Helecho – Lavanda - Ciclamen
• Monday July 22: Calles; - Cantoria – Alhabia - Ermita Peñicas – Adra – Albizia – Punica
• Wednesday July 24: Calles; - Tamariz – Albox – Albanchez - Virgen de la Cabeza – Antas
• Friday July 26: Calles; Alicun – Alcontar – Berja – Conicera – Bedar - Cuevas Almanzora - Jara

Owners of properties on these roads will be able to collect and sign for their notification document on the specified day and will need to show NIE/DNI at the time of signing for the notification and as previously mentioned, anyone missing their allotted day will be able to collect their notification after July 29 from the Social Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
