ARCHIVED - All over 65s in Mazarron can get grants for hearing aids, glasses and more
Mazarrón town council is providing a line of subsidies for any resident over 65 years of age
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, has announced that the Regional Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy is providing a series of grants for people over 65 years of age to get hearing aids, dental treatment and glasses.
“These grants can be applied for until April 19 and are aimed at people over 65 years of age registered in the Region of Murcia. Therefore, residents of our municipality, registered in Mazarrón may be eligible for the subsidies,” said Mayor Miras.
The grants are intended for the purchase of:
- Hearing aids (maximum 2 units): up to 3,000 euros.
- Dental treatment: up to 1,500 euros.
- Glasses (maximum 1 unit): up to 300 euros.
Any resident of Mazarrón who is aged 65 or older is eligible to apply for these grants, but must do so before April 19. You can apply through any of the Social Services Centres of Mazarrón Town Hall (Centros de Servicios Sociales del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón):
