Alicante weekly weather forecast April 7-10: Prepare for rain this Thursday
Enjoy the sun at the beginning of this week because the weekend is looking to be pretty soggy
Weather outlook in Alicante on Thursday April 10
According to the weather forecast from Spain's State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the province of Alicante will be blessed with some lovely warm weather this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, before the dark clouds roll in with rain on Thursday, ready for a wet weekend and Easter week beyond that.
Monday April 7
Aemet forecasts "low cloudy or clear skies in general in the morning, with intervals of medium clouds in the interior", plus possible "isolated showers... in the interior of the northern half".
There will be "light wind" at first, increasing during the morning to "moderate northeast on the coast and light east inland".
Tuesday April 8
For Tuesday, there will be more clear skies "with intervals of low clouds". Temperatures will drop slightly in the southern third of the province and remain unchanged in the rest.
Wednesday April 9
Wednesday brings more "cloudy intervals", while "weak precipitation [is] likely in the interior of the northern third in the afternoon".
There is little change is minimum temperatures but daytime maximums will be "in slight decline" in the interior of the northern half and unchanged in the rest.
Thursday April 10
The cloudiness increases on Thursday, especially from midday onwards, with rain expected in the interior of the far north and towards Valencia, while there may be other scattered showers in the rest of the province.
The wind will also pick up in the north and inland areas, and the rain only increases in intensity and frequency as we go into the weekend!
